Pascal in particular was very clingy during vacation. If I was in the house, he had to be within sight of me. By the end of the week, he was so chatty. He really enjoyed the extra companionship.
I had to head back to work today. I went back to my normal routine of caring for the birds and leaving them in the cage. Pascal was very upset. I picked up some of his toys and was putting them in his toy bucket so he'd have them for the day. He put up his foot like he wanted one of them. When I tried to hand the toy to him, he instead jumped on my hand. I kept him in his cage and told him I'd be back home tonight.
As I sat in the kitchen eating my breakfast, Pascal was in the other room yelling "hello" over and over. I guess he figured I forgot about him. It was so sad but so cute.
